The Summer Solstice 5K is this Saturday. We will be extending registration to Friday in-store at Big Peach and on Active.com
Please make note, if you plan to run as a team, you can register yourself and just be sure to add your team name. Have your teammates do the same. And don’t worry if the team doesn’t come through. You can still run the race as an individual.

Summer Solstice 5K

Our inaugural Summer Solstice 5K is coming up on June 20, 2009. You can register at Active.com, or starting next week at any of the Big Peach stores.

This race will be a little different than most 5K races because it will be run entirely on grass and dirt at the Cobb County Corps Property in Acworth, GA. Our race is the same as other 5Ks except that we are also offering the option of running as part of a team.

For those of you that never ran high school cross country, the team consists of 5 members who all run at the same time. The team whose combined score is lowest (think of golf) wins!

We encourage individual as well as teams to register. So come out alone, or get your four fastest friends to register with you. Please e-mail us at runcobb@mindspring.com if you have any questions.
